Cron job failure notification frequency

October 21, 2007

Hi everyone,

The default setup on WebBasedCron is to send you a failure notification email for every 5 times your cron job fails. Up to today, this number was hard coded and users who’s cron jobs were prone to failing would receive large amounts of email notifications. We can now change this number to whatever you like, the minimum is still 5, but if your cron job fails often we would be more than happy to increase this number. Just open a support ticket and we’ll change it for you.

Thanks,
George
